The summer program at Palm Harbor Montessori Academy is 8 weeks of fun and learning for students who have a wide range of interests. Browse our schedule of programs here.

We offer full day camps for children from 3 to 12 years old in arts, humanities, sciences and more. Camps are from 9:00am until 3:00pm for camp day and from 7:30am until 5:30pm for a full day.

Primary Themes (3-6 Years)

To Infinity and Beyond

Look to the sky – what can you see? In this camp, learn to identify constellations, planets and lunar craters and explore the Earth, the solar system and the universe!

At the Zoo

Explore the wonderful world of animals that live at the zoo with a fun-filled week of crafts and activities.

America the Beautiful

We will celebrate the Fourth of July by learning about our nation’s birthday with a camp full of patriotic-themed activities.

Art, Music, and Drama

Each camper will have the opportunity to unlock their imagination and explore the world of art, music and musical themes and drama.

Elementary Themes (6-12 years)

Astronomy

Rocks and Minerals

Learn about the amazing world of geology, rocks, and mineral structures while participating in activities and crafts.

America the Beautiful

STEM Camp (Ages 6-12 only)

Biorobotics

This camp focuses on the hardware and coding that’s required to create machines that model living and breathing beings. Projects include mechanized contraptions ranging from robotic hands to real programmable robots using LEGO WeDo!

Freaky Forces and Elusive Energies

From the magic of magnetism to the science of sound, campers explore a world filled with energies and forces! Projects such as lava lamps, clay boats, and catapults allow children to touch, feel, and see concepts that are the building blocks of physics.

Coding and Gaming

Using MIT’s Scratch computer language, campers learn how to program their very own unique games and animations. Projects include a computer program uploaded to MIT’s website and an original board game.

Engineering a Metropolis

Campers explore what it takes to create a metropolitan area by designing their own city! From street layouts to power source identification, campers learn about the challenges that architects and engineers face when building cities from scratch.
